WorkAround To Add Other Calendar Entries to Main Google Calendar

On the BlackBerry Z10, if you want to stay on Google Calendar then you can only sync your main calendar.

A workaround to get entries from other calendars to show in your Z10 calendar is to copy each calendar entry to your main google calendar. Go to your calendar page https://www.google.com/calendar/render?tab=cc and left click on any calendar entry, a pop up will appear and you can select 'copy to my calendar'.

The full details of the item will be displayed and you can edit, add attendees etc before saving in your default calendar.

If the events in the additional calendars are changed or are cancelled you will have to do the same with the event in your default calendar yourself as this is a very basic workaround, there is no automatic sync with this method.

Who needs a game console, just use your BlackBerry Z10

BlackBerry are adding bluetooth gamepad support to the Z10, so ditch the games consoles and plug your Z10 into the big screen with the HDMI connector, or use DLNA to stream to your new TV wirelessly.

BlackBerry 10 have many of the hottest game titles, and now have video demoing various gamepads paired via bluetooth to the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone! Action games can be difficult to play with the controls on the touchscreen. The gamepadsolves that problem that by bringing the controls to a physical controller.

BlackBerry Print To Go App Updated to Version 2

The BlackBerry Print To Go applications has been updated to version 2, and the big change is that you can connect to multiple devices and print to all of them at once, some of them, or select just one device to send the output to.

Download Print To Go from BlackBerry here http://ca.blackberry.com/software/desktop/print-to-go.html

PS The BlackBerry website downloaded the file as PrintToGo-WindowsDesktop-2.0.110.exe.bin and my PC was asking where to extract the files, the solution was to remove the .bin renaming it to PrintToGo-WindowsDesktop-2.0.110.exe and then execute to install.

BlackBerry Z10 - A couple of Quick Tips for BlackBerry Link

If your Z10 is saying never synced, try doing this:

If you want to sync files from your Z10 to your PC, click the Z10 device tab so it shows the thin blue bar. Then click on music, pictures, video or document. Now you can explore in the file directory tree, and right click on the one you want to sync. When you right click you get three options, show in explorer (which opens a windows explorer window), sync to, or delete. sync to in this view only gives me desktop.

I have been using it the other way, to transfer files to the Z10, click the PC tab so it shows the thin blue line, then do the above and sync to will let you sync to the Z10.

If you are getting a message saying can't complete backup:

Going to Settings>Network Connections, and setting airplane mode to 'On' has solved this problem for some people.
